About VOvember

With many friends who are animators, I found myself immersed in — and entertained by — their prolific drawings during the month of “Inktober” (a phenomenal challenge for artists created by super-talented Jake Parker in 2009).  I was inspired by their efforts and decided to do the same with my voiceover work.

The name VOvember popped into mind since my VO fun would follow the month after Inktober.  That first VOvember was in 2017, and it was great fun to do!

Now, here’s to the creativity and fun it may bring each November — each VOvember!

November 4, 2020: Music – “Song of the Lark”

“Music” is the Inktober prompt I used today for my VOvember time at the mic, and what a great text it led me to! Here’s a bit of “Song of the Lark” by Willa Cather (1915 edition). #VOvember2020 #VOvember
